Partners Gain New Focus at Exclusive IIMC Conference

Tim Wyman and Melissa Joy went to Clearwater Beach Florida this February to join a group of 100 financial advisors for a two-day investment conference. Everyone who attended the meeting is a member of the Raymond James Institute of Investment Management Consulting’s (IIMC’s) Portfolio Management Group. Membership in this exclusive group is based upon our commitment to process-driven, disciplined management of portfolios. The Center has been privileged to have firm-wide membership since 2011.

Melissa and Tim attended sessions including portfolio management topics, ETF research and analysis, updates on investing in the new tax environment, and portfolio rebalancing. Melissa said, “The highlight was sessions from other advisors around the country speaking to their best practices with clients. Tim and I have both presented at this conference in the past, and we love to share ideas and learn from other talented teams who we’ve grown to know through the years.”

As a firm, The Center is committed to the financial planning and investment management process, both as an art and a science. Forums such as IIMC keep our team focused on our role as students of these fields, especially as they relate to investing for our clients.
